Our client, a growing company with headquarters based in the Triad (central NC), is seeking a strong accounting and management professional with some public corporate experience.

 

Reporting to the CFO, the Accounting Manager directly manages the functions of all transactional inputs for processing of receipts, payments, travel with the exclusion of manufacturing production and cost inputs. The manager also works with IT and functional areas of the company to continuously improve methods that lead to greater efficiency and better controls. As such this manager has a high degree of involvement with the external audit process, the execution of SOX controls, the design of controls, risk management and internal customer services related to payments and information requests.

 

Job Requirements

  • Manage planning process for all pre-event meetings
  • Coordinating and/or delivering all tax consulting services to valued clients
  • Provide related advisory/consulting services for new business strategies
  • Learning the services of department
  • Learning the services of group
  • Exceed client expectations based on the services
  • Assist the meeting planner in determining and meeting convention needs as relate to all hotel departments
  • Provide services to commercial banking clients
  • Ensure timely delivery of services
  • Coordinate all aspects of international tax compliance
  • Servicing related audits including flood certification and tax contract services
  • Provide services to new and existing clients
  • Improve effectiveness of the tax compliance function and to provide all necessary tax consulting services to senior management and other departments
  • Manage the client service team
  • Resolve international, corporate tax issues
  • Attend and/or set up pre/post convention meetings
  • Manage a group of tax staff to support the company's compliance and planning requirements
  • Initiate sales with current or prospective clients for expanding current services or solutions for client needs
  • Identify and develop new services
  • Assist with tax department technology initiatives including implementation of tax provision software
