Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Bilingual Customer Service Specialist for one of several Customer Service openings locally. Candidates should be fluent in English and at least one other language (Spanish or French preferred) and have at least 2 years of experience in a high volume customer support environment. Positions start at $13.25 per hour.

Summary

Assist patients with billing issues and concerns, follow-up on accounts and arrange payment plans as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Correspond with patients in a professional and courteous manner and within limits established by the client in an effort to recover outstanding bills.
  • Assist patients with billing issues and/or concerns, while providing excellent customer service and resolve customer issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Carefully follow work standards and procedures.
  • Review accounts to assure appropriate contacts and follow-up are completed.
  • Document all contact information in the agency system.
  • Constant adherence with all policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook and any other procedural process of the organization.
  • Teamwork through example.
  • Other duties as assigned.
