Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently working on two contract Buyer opportunities with a large fortune 500 client here in Greensboro. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of procurement experience including sourcing, project timeline management, negotiations and supplier review.  

Job Duties:

  • Evaluate suppliers sand establish new supplier relationships
  • Lead and negotiate sourcing activities
  • Issue RFQ's, negotiate on costs and ensure contracts are fulfilled
  • Support departments with changing procurement needs
  • Monitor changes in the market to get updated pricing when necessary
  • Collaborate with global team on sourcing strategies and needs

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of purchasing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in either Supply Chain, Business or other related industry 
  • Ability to work in a team driven environment
  • French or Spanish highly preferred
  • Superior negotiations kills
  • Ability to develop long term relationships with vendors and clients
  • Superior communication skills both written and verbally
