Job Requirements

Job Description

• Set up, program, and operate Okuma Lathe (Okuma OSP control) along with Okamoto cylindrical and surface grinder.
• Produce parts from blueprints with tight tolerances.
• Ability to machine parts using CNC Lathes and Grinders with little or no supervision.
• Perform layout and prepare shop drawings as required.
• Read blueprints, utilize precision measurement tools while using the metric system.
• Follow all applicable specifications to accomplish a specific task.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform work within estimated hours.
• Follow all safety procedures and specifications.
• Execute all required paperwork in connection with assigned normal duties.
• Use and operate ground support equipment, as applicable and if qualified, in a safe manner.
• Interface effectively with members of management, other departments, and co-workers.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience operating CNC and manual milling machines
• Ability to meet production/quality standards
• Able to do heavy lifting and standing for long periods
• History of working in a detail oriented fast paced environment
• Proven history of excellent attendance
