Job Requirements of Furnace Technician:
Job Duties
- Start machines, monitor operations, and make adjustments as needed.
- Produce high quality parts and perform the necessary steps as identify by the work order.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems.
- Performs assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
- Performs scheduled maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Respond to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown.
- Troubleshoots (when necessary).
- Performing tests on mechanical systems.
- Repairs/replaces worn/defective parts, motors and devices.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area.
- Performance of Operator duties, as needed.
- Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
Job Requirements
- 2 or more years of recent experience as a Furnace Operator and/or technician.
- Experience in industrial equipment installations, alignment and start-up repairs.
- Flexible to work weekend hours, as required.
- Associate's Degree preferred.

Furnace Technician
Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Furnace Technician for our client in the Greensboro area. Ideal candidates will have 2 years of recent industrial technician experience and the ability to work 6am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday with occasionally Saturdays.
