Furnace Technician in Greensboro, NC at Advanced Personnel Resources

Job Requirements

Job Duties

• Start machines, monitor operations, and make adjustments as needed.
• Produce high quality parts and perform the necessary steps as identify by the work order.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems.
• Performs assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
• Performs scheduled maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Respond to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown.
• Troubleshoots (when necessary).
• Performing tests on mechanical systems.
• Repairs/replaces worn/defective parts, motors and devices.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Performance of Operator duties, as needed.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervision.

Job Requirements

• 2 or more years of recent experience as a Furnace Operator and/or technician.
• Experience in industrial equipment installations, alignment and start-up repairs.
• Flexible to work weekend hours, as required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.

Contract-to-Hire
