Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a motivated Grant Administrator for a new opportunity with our client, a large nonprofit organization located in the Triad. Selected candidates should have a background working in the nonprofit or public sectors and should have strong proficiency in technology such as Microsoft Excel and Adobe Creative Suite.

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate assigned projects(s) to ensure that the goals and objectives of the projects are accomplished within agreed upon time frames and budget requirements
  • Maintain frequent contact with principal investigators and project directors throughout the organization and external funding agencies developing contacts and relationships to further the growth of external funding at the organization
  • Develop and provide administrative and financial requirements of the various awards as needed
  • Provide technical pre and post award support to principal investigators and project directors throughout the organization in the development
  • Review and submission of all routine and complex grant and contract proposals by providing extensive information and guidance for use in the proposal submission process with a concentration on budgetary matters
  • Ensure that applicants are aware of and comply with applicable deadlines
  • Develop and maintain a schedule of funding cycles, proposal submissions and reporting deadlines
  • Review completed proposal applications and contracts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the requirements of the organization and the prospective funding agency
  • Develop and provide training on the administrative and financial requirements of the various awards as needed

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in research administration, business administration, or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining working partnerships and ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, learn and explain technical information, analyze and problem solve, and manage multiple complex tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of standard computer and software applications, including MS Office Suite, Adobe, and similar software.
