Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist for a Direct Placement opportunity with our client in Greensboro. Qualified candidates will have have a background in manufacturing and distribution and be comfortable handling OSHA compliance, keeping logs current, and handling employee relations. This is a fantastic opportunity with a rapidly expanding organization offering tremendous growth. Starting pay ranges from $45,000 - $50,000 annually, with additional flexibility for a highly-qualified candidate.

Job Description

The HR Generalist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and applying all HR policies and Company guidelines and making sure that they adhere to applicable standards and laws; manages day-to-day interdepartmental communications and human resource activities. Essential duties include:

• Implement talent acquisition and recruiting process

• Conduct employee onboarding and organize training and development programs

• Develop/update job descriptions in cooperation with supervisors

• Administer employee compensation and benefit plans

• Schedule and assist in employee performance reviews

• Support wellness programs and campaigns

• Schedule and monitor employee vacations and leaves

• Develop and administer health and safety programs and OSHA training

• Schedule and monitor employee health and safety evaluations

• Interpret Company policies and procedures and resolve issues with employees in regards to adherence of these policies and procedures

• Promote programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace

• Ensure compliance with labor regulations

• Document and administer employee discipline and termination processes The successful candidate will possess:

Job Requirements

• Broad knowledge and understanding of human resources

• A Bachelors' degree in a related field of study

• At least one year applicable experience as a generalist

• Good judgement and problem solving skills

• Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in human resource planning, allocation, and coordination
