Advanced Personnel Resources has begun actively seeking to fill a Logistics Coordinator opportunity for a client in Browns Summit, NC. We have partnered with one of the area's most prestigious clients within the food industry seeking to make an immediate hire. Ideal candidates will hold recent relevant experience in shipping and receiving and will hold a valid forklift certification and have administrative skills.

Shift: M-F ; 7:30-4pm - We also have a late start opening too!

Pay: $19.50/hr and up DOE

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating all inbound/outbound shipments, moving of supplies, stock/re-stocking of materials. Along with other duties such as:

  • Adhering to all Logistics SOP’s policies and procedures.
  • Confirming and processing all inbound/outbound shipments.
  • Completing proper documentation such as shipping/receiving orders by using the appropriate software system.
  • Conducting weekly cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Checking work orders daily for production departments.
  • Staying in direct communication with Purchasing managers to manage freight for inbound shipments.
  • Booking shipments directly using Freight Forwarders on a daily basis.
  • Utilizing online tools to process inbound/outbound shipments.

Job Requirements

Logistics Coordinator Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience. (College degree preferred)
  • Must be forklift certified.
  • Must be able to assist with labor and manufacturing tasks as needed.
  • Must have a solid understanding of inventory management systems.
