Advanced Personnel Resources is hiring 1st and mid-shift picker/packers for our Greensboro client. This is a distribution center for cutting tools, drill bits, saw blades, etc. These are temp to hire with a monthly bonus! Some overtime available. Reliable warehouse candidates apply!
Picker/Packer Job Description:
- Collecting order notes to fulfill deliveries
- Picking out ordered items from storage shelves or rooms using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.
- Securely shrink-wrapping or packing items before placing them into envelopes or boxes.
- Operating handling equipment according to industrial safety regulations.
- Loading delivery vehicles.
- Updating stock inventory after each item is retrieved.
- Managing stock control, including item replenishment and storage.
- Performing general warehouse duties as necessary, including some cleaning.
- RF scan gun
1st shift = 6:30am-2:30pm Mon-Fri
Mid shift = 10am-6pm M-F
$13.50/hour + monthly bonus for good performance!
Job Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to stand, walk, lift to 50 lbs., bend, stoop.
- Able to commit to a long term position.
- Reliable transportation.
- Able to work occasional overtime, possible Saturdays.
- Warehouse or Picker experience (6+ months)
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Able to work independently and/or as a team.
- Basic math skills
