Textiles Frame Operator / 3rd shift in Greensboro, NC at Advanced Personnel Resources

Job Description

1. Obtains necessary mandrels and precut tubes if needed.
2. Sets “Predetermining Counter” to required put-up specifications; resets totalizer clocks.
3. Operates mandrel extractor, loads tubes onto mandrel, inflates mandrel bladder with compressed air.
4. Loads mandrel onto mandrel conveyor system.
5. Operates batcher.
6. Sets slitter blades and monitors quality; replaces blades as necessary.
7. Works alone or with an additional operator to:  doff rolls onto doff table; tape finished rolls; transfer rolls to dump table.
8. Reloads mandrel.
9. Assists ticket handler with end-disks, separating rolls, etc.
10. Monitors quality of finished fabric.
11. Maintains a safe work environment and follows established safety rules.
12. Performs housekeeping duties in work area.
13. Performs other work as requested by immediate supervisor.
14. Wears appropriate personal protective equipment.
