Overview
Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, experience in vendor management, and a solid understanding of human resources practices. This role is pivotal in maintaining efficient office systems and supporting staff through effective event planning and administrative support.

Duties

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling inquiries.
  • Oversee clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office records.
  • Coordinate vendor management to ensure timely service delivery and maintain positive relationships.
  • Assist with human resources functions, including onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files.
  • Plan and organize company events, meetings, and team-building activities.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks, including invoicing and expense tracking.
  • Process payroll accurately and on time while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain an organized office environment by implementing efficient filing systems and office procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritizing effectively.
  • Experience in event planning is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of human resources practices is beneficial for supporting staff needs.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
