Job Requirements of Upholsterer:

Key Responsibilities:

Review job tickets to determine the style and quantity of furniture to be upholstered.

Assemble furniture using staples and other necessary tools to secure materials to frames.

Cover furniture (including backs and seats) with fabric or leather, ensuring a clean, smooth finish.

Inspect completed pieces for quality, ensuring there are no wrinkles, creases, or defects in the upholstery.

Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail to meet company standards.

Work closely with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines .

Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in the furniture or upholstery industry.

Proficient with hand tools and staple guns used in furniture upholstery.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to read and interpret work tickets and follow detailed instructions.

Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift as needed in a production environment.

Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
