Job Requirements of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician:
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and assigned repair tasks on industrial machinery, building systems, and facility equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing equipment, workshops, and outdoor areas to ensure optimal performance.
- Carry out electrical repairs, PLC troubleshooting, and other maintenance tasks in compliance with safety codes and best practices.
- Assist in the installation, adjustment, and upgrades of building systems and industrial equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and equipment replacement data.
- Promptly report major repair needs or equipment upgrade requirements to management.
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or potential issues.
- Ensure all new installations and repairs comply with safety regulations and building codes.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Demonstrate strong multi-skill capabilities across mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and OSHA safety standards.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in the industrial maintenance field.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with pneumatics, hydraulics, gear pumps, motors, and preventative maintenance (PM) procedures.
- Hands-on experience in electrical systems, HVAC, pressure vessels, plumbing, welding, and general facility maintenance.
- Ability to work on-call and overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade certifications preferred.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician
Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician for our client in Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience with proven skills in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, PLC troubleshooting and repair, industrial equipment installation, and building/grounds maintenance.
This is a first-shift position (Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.) with opportunities for overtime and required on-call availability. Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment and performing both preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
