Job Requirements of Document Restoration Associate:
Job Duties
- Gently take apart bound books and records, noting their order and condition to ensure nothing is lost or damaged.
- Use specialized treatments to protect and extend the life of historical documents.
- Apply hands-on techniques to safeguard books, papers, maps, and plot plans for future generations.
- Enter information into a computer system, create labels, and keep accurate records for easy reference.
- Follow clear, straightforward instructions to ensure each step of the preservation process is done with care.
Job Requirements
- Must be comfortable in a calm, quiet setting where focus matters and a team player who works well with others and contributes to a positive atmosphere.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to notice even the smallest changes or imperfections.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and able to stay focused from start to finish.
- Physically able to lift 25–30 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable being seated or standing for extended periods as needed.
- Basic computer skills are required; experience with Excel is a plus.

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking a Document Restoration Associates for our client in Greensboro. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in an isolated, quiet environment. This is a 1st shift opportunity with overtime as required.
