Job Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow work orders to produce high-quality parts and ensure all specifications are met.
- Regularly inspect parts to confirm they meet quality standards and make necessary machine adjustments.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in production.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Maintain consistent machine cycles to maximize efficiency.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments during the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven record of good attendance.
- Proven experience as an Assistant Press Operator is strongly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machining equipment.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic math skills are required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Production Assistant/Machine Operator (Night Shift)
Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator/Production Assistant for our client in the Whitsett area. This position is responsible for overseeing the operation of production machinery to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of recent experience in a assistant press operator role and the ability to work 6pm-6am, on a 2-2-3 schedule.
