Inventory Manager (Furniture)
Advanced Personnel Resources is partnering with a client in the High Point area seeking an Inventory Manager (Furniture).
This will be Temp to Hire or possibly Direct Hire for the right candidate
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 6:30 AM – 4:15 PM
- Friday: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Pay Range: $65,000–$70,000 annually
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring proper inventory flow from receipt of materials through finished goods. This role plays a critical part in supporting production, audits, and overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure inventory accuracy across all materials and finished goods
- Receive delivered inventory into the ERP system using purchase orders, verifying correct item numbers and quantities
- Inspect incoming inventory for damages and communicate any issues to suppliers
- Generate and complete daily cycle counts
- Ensure all major inventory adjustments are reviewed and approved by plant leadership
- Maintain accurate bin locations and confirm physical inventory matches system records
- Develop and recommend process improvements to strengthen inventory controls from raw materials through shipment
- Support the controller during the annual audit process
