Purchasing Inventory Coordinator

$19.00 - $20.00/Hour

Job Title: Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator
Starting Pay: $19-20 phr
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Job Requirements:

  • Solicit quotes from vendors and negotiate prices and terms.
  • Create and manage purchase orders.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Research market trends and new products to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand without overstocking.
  • Perform cycle counts and verify physical inventory.
  • Maintain inventory control databases and records.
  • Ensure that products are stored, organized, and readily available.
  • Work with departments like production, sales, and finance to understand needs and communicate updates.
  • Provide regular reports on inventory levels, purchasing costs, and supply chain activities.
  • Resolve any issues related to purchasing or delivery.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and ERP systems.
