Job Requirements of Sanitation Worker - Manufacturing:
Summary: The Sanitation Technician performs plant sanitation duties to ensure quality products are produced, packaged, and prepared for delivery to customers in a safe manner.
Primary Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Sanitation worker will Monitor and document chemical concentrations to ensure proper cleaning of equipment.
- Sanitation worker will Clean and sanitize all tanks, vats, lines and fillers and all areas of the plant as assigned.
- Sanitation worker will Complete all assigned paperwork.
- Sanitation worker will Perform preventative maintenance as assigned.
- Sanitation worker will Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
- Sanitation worker will Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Sanitation worker will Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures.
- Sanitation worker will Follow all food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in a sanitation role in a high-volume manufacturing environment required.
Other Skills and relevant considerations:

- Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.
Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work in a wet and/or humid environment. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur. Exposure to nut allergens.
Must be able to repeatedly lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
- Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Sanitation Worker - Manufacturing
We are searching for detail-oriented Sanitation workers for a food manufacturer in Winston Salem, NC! Prior sanitation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Temp-to-hire!
$16/hr
Monday-Friday (some Saturdays)
5am to 5pm
