Job Requirements of Offset Press Feeder / 12-hour rotating Day shift:
Responsibilities
- Load and assure press sheets remain in correct feeding position at the beginning and during the press operation.
- Assist with keeping the ink fountains full for each job.
- Adhere to all quality assurance specifications and company operation procedures.
- Learn the proper operation of the press.
- Examine all press sheets before loading onto the feeder area for correct size, quantity, caliper and vendor per job jacket specifications.
- Keep water fountains full and within proper pH-level.
- Measure and regulate proper conductivity level of fountain solutions.
- Return unused ink to storage area for Material Expeditor; assure ink lids and skim papers are in place.
- Maintain necessary daily supplies/materials within press area for use by Press Operator and Helper.
- Learn all aspects of the job jacket and its relation to the press such as the job items, production codes, ink, press sheet size and quantities.
- Assist Press Operator with Check Sheet procedure; assure compliance to correct copy and position of each insert.
- Move skids to holding areas after completion, ensure skids are marked with the date, job number, skid number and Press Operator’s initials, hold ticket/keep all skids properly unitized.
- Assist Press Operator with all preventative maintenance schedules.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Offset Press Feeder / 12-hour rotating Day shift
Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking individuals for our client in Whitsett, NC. This is an Offset Press Feeder role in a fast paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining optiumum quality and efficient production output with the ultimate goal of becoming a Press Operator.
Shift: 6am-6pm, rotating 2-3-2 schedule
$17/hour
Direct Hire
Location: Whitsett, NC
Requirements:
Strong mathematical, computer, and reading skillls.
Walk, sit, stand, use hands, tools, lift to 30 lbs, color vision.
