Job Requirements of Maintenance Technician (Industrial):
Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.
- Regularly examine and maintain facility systems, including but not limited to manufacturing equipment, workshops, and outdoor areas.
- Perform basic and routine repairs such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, PLC troubleshooting, and other related maintenance tasks, adhering to proper maintenance practices and codes.
- Assist with the setup, adjustment, or enhancement of building systems and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and current records of service and replacement data for facility equipment and machinery.
- Notify the appropriate manager of any significant repair needs or equipment upgrades.
- Address maintenance and repair issues promptly and efficiently.
- Propose improvements to maintenance procedures or identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify safety hazards or malfunctioning components.
- Ensure new installations comply with safety standards and building codes.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace at all times.
- Demonstrate a high level of skill and proficiency across all maintenance operations.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations in all activities.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
- Take on additional tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance field.
- Experience troubleshooting pneumatics, hydraulics, gear pumps, motors, and PM’s.
- Experience safely using tools such as welder, torch, saws, hand tools and other cutting tools.
- Flexible to work 12-hour shifts.
- Comfortable with climbing and working at heights.
- Able to work in dirty, hot, and cold conditions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Maintenance Technician (Industrial)
Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our client in Greensboro. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of recent industrial maintenance experience with a background in mechanical maintenance, PLCs, installation and building and grounds maintenance. This position works a 12-hour shift, on a 2-2-3 schedule.
