Job Requirements of Wiring Technician:
Primary Duties:
- Reading and Understanding Schematics: Effectively interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical blueprints to successfully complete tasks.
- Cable Construction: Assemble and finish single- or multi-conductor cables, ensuring compliance with specified guidelines.
- Enclosure and Panel Wiring: Assemble, wire, and route enclosures, panels, and harnesses with meticulous attention to design and organization.
- Wire Termination and Routing: Perform wire terminations with precision, ensuring clear labeling and organized routing to guarantee operational efficiency.
- Soldering: Execute soldering tasks to meet high standards such as IPC-620 and J-STD-001, ensuring long-lasting, reliable connections.
- Consistent Precision: Focus on maintaining accuracy and consistency while performing repetitive tasks to guarantee flawless results.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years of practical experience in wiring, soldering, or related fields; experience in the defense, aerospace, or research sectors is highly valued.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in reading and understanding wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Skilled in soldering, crimping, and wire termination, with a deep knowledge of IPC-620 and J-STD-001 standards.
- Familiarity with common tools used for wiring and assembly, such as crimping tools, wire strippers, and multimeters.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on performing precise work with an emphasis on quality and reliability.
- Certifications: IPC or J-STD certifications are advantageous but not required.
- Work Ethic: A self-driven, dependable individual capable of maintaining high standards during routine tasks.

Wiring Technician
Our client in High Point are looking for an experienced Wiring Technician to join their team. In this role, the individual will be essential in ensuring that products meet the high standards of quality and dependability for clients within the defense, research, and aerospace industries. The role requires a detail-oriented approach to the assembly, wiring, and construction of components, all of which must meet rigorous quality criteria and function without fail.
This position is Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm.
