Job Requirements of Textile Machine Operator (Night Shift):
Job Duties:
- Operate warping machinery, including loading creels and threading machines.
- Monitor and verify quality throughout warping and weaving processes.
- Record key process parameters and input data into the computer system.
- Load and unload warp beams and finished fabric rolls.
- Perform mechanical repairs and troubleshoot machine issues.
- Conduct lab tests on fabric swatches and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including using a forklift and pallet jack.
- Ensure good housekeeping on the production floor.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, or relevant experience in textiles.
- Proven mechanical skills and textile experience.
- Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, and percentage calculations; must pass a math test.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs repetitively and climb ladders as needed.
- Good dexterity, ideally suited for handling yarn.
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
