Job Duties
- Prepare digital files for print production
- Conduct thorough preflight checks to identify and resolve file errors
- Adjust layout, formatting, and imposition to meet production specifications
- Perform color correction and color management to ensure print accuracy
- Create digital and/or hard copy proofs for internal and customer approval
- Output files to printing devices following established production standards
- Collaborate with design, production, and sales teams to clarify file requirements
- Maintain organized file management systems and documentation
- Troubleshoot file or output issues to minimize production delays
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and production deadlines
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent. Associate's Degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Strong understanding of print production processes, file preparation, and prepress workflows
- Knowledge of color theory, CMYK processes, and color correction techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to balance multiple projects

Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a Prepress Designer for a new opportunity with our client located here in the Triad. The Prepress Designer is responsible for preparing and optimizing digital files for print production to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud applications and a solid understanding of layout, color management, and print production processes.
