Job Requirements of Warehouse Supervisor:
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Warehouse, material handling, and forklift experience preferred.
- Must be able to read, understand, and carry out work instructions in English.
- Basic arithmetic skills to calculate and convert decimals and fractions required.
- Must be able to read and understand basic measurement functions (ruler, caliper, etc.)
- Ability to pass a human performance evaluation to meet physical requirements of the job (lifting up to 70 lbs., pushing, pulling, etc.)

Warehouse Supervisor
Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a Material handler/Forklift Operator for a local metal company in the Greensboro area! This individual will be okay working in an industrial environment. This individual will also be able to lift heavily, and have great attendance.
Responsibilities:
- Move material throughout warehouse by safely operating powered industrial vehicles (forklifts and overhead cranes).
- Retrieve material from inventory according to work instructions.
- Verify accuracy of material retrieved by measuring and comparing product information on tag to work order.
- Construct skids and use shipping supplies to properly wrap and prepare product for delivery using tape measures, banding equipment, and nail guns.
- Tag material, verify product against work order, and perform last piece visual inspection.
- Safely load and unload material from trucks using cranes, forklifts, and side loaders.
- Inspect inbound material using measuring tape measures and calipers.
- Record and report material discrepancies.
- Locate material into inventory racking system.
- Prepare orders for shipment via common carriers, UPS, and customer pick-up.
- Expedite orders and process received and shipped material in system.
- Print material certifications and shipping tickets.
- Continually inspect materials and report material defects.
- Perform additional duties as instructed by manager.
