Job Requirements of Machine Operator (Night Shift):
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery, including loading rolls, sewing seams, and setting up equipment according to specifications.
- Maintain accurate records for work orders, production reports, and material tracking.
- Inspect fabric for defects, document findings, and send samples for lab testing.
- Ensure proper chemical levels in coating troughs and maintain talc powder levels in designated areas.
- Perform routine cleaning of equipment and work areas using appropriate tools and protective gear.
- Safely handle and wrap finished rolls, ensuring proper labeling before moving them to the next stage.
- Conduct regular quality checks and adjust units as needed to meet production standards.
- Report any mechanical issues, deviations, or quality concerns to management.
- Support workplace safety by performing equipment checks, following security protocols, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure a steady flow of materials for uninterrupted production.
- Accurately input production data into the system and complete other assigned tasks as needed.

Our client, in Kernersville, are seeking a Machine Operator to work their 12 hour night shift from 6pm to 6am, Monday through Thursday. This position is temp-to-hire and the qualified candidate will have at least 2 years of machine operating experience and a consistent work history.
