Job Requirements of Maintenance Supervisor (3rd Shift):
Key Responsibilities:
(Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.)
- Lead the integration of new technologies and products into full-scale production operations.
- Review and authorize technical documentation, including engineering drawings, manufacturing instructions (MIs), specifications, and routing sheets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve production challenges, fostering a productive and quality-driven environment within Engineering.
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities on the shop floor, ensuring adherence to standardized procedures and approved processes.
- Work with the Engineering Planner to coordinate staffing for weekdays, weekends, and employee leave, with an emphasis on minimizing overtime expenses.
- Strategically manage inventory to reduce costs while ensuring component availability, and enforce compliance with Enterprise Asset Management System protocols.
- Support hiring efforts by participating in interviews and candidate selection for Maintenance Department roles.
- Promote workplace safety by conducting inspections, monitoring employee practices, providing safety training, and ensuring compliance with housekeeping, plant regulations, and food safety standards. Accountable for maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Supervise the upkeep of the waste treatment systems, facility infrastructure, and grounds.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 4–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or comparable experience with similar products.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong technical background in electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to leverage available resources to enhance the performance of the maintenance team.

Our client in Reidsville are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for 3rd shift as a direct hire with the company. The typical shift is 10pm-8am and the qualified candidate will be required to work some weekends.
