Job Requirements of Clamp Truck Operator (3rd Shift):
Key Responsibilities:

Operate battery-powered equipment for various tasks, including:
- Loading and unloading trailers
- Transporting materials within the warehouse
- Organizing and staging materials for storage or delivery

Equipment may include, but is not limited to, forklift trucks, roll clamp trucks, and motorized pallet jacks.

Ensure all products are stored and delivered in an orderly and safe manner.

Maintain precise inventory records, ensuring the accuracy of all material movements.
-
Complete necessary forms and use barcode scanners to guarantee accurate inventory tracking.
-
Contribute to warehouse cleanliness and organization, adhering to housekeeping standards.
-
Follow company policies, procedures, and comply with regulatory requirements, including Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
-
Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and document any equipment issues or defects.
-
Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring timely and efficient order processing.
-
Operate equipment safely, adhering to operational guidelines, troubleshooting issues, and overseeing preventative maintenance and repairs.
-
Identify and address inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
-
Manage “just-in-time” shipments, adjusting to changing customer schedules and priorities.
-
Ensure proper inventory control and account for all finished goods.
-
Respond proactively to customer schedule changes and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
-
Handle hazardous materials (HAZMAT) in compliance with safety regulations.
-
Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification & Experience:
- Forklift certification and at least three months of safe, accident-free operation experience.
- Minimum of one year of warehouse experience.
Skills:
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software.

Our client in Whitsett is seeking a Powered Truck Operator for their facility to work on 3rd shift from 10pm to 6am. This position is direct hire with the client company. An ideal candidate will have clamp truck experience along with sit-down forklift experience.
