Job Requirements of Machine Operator - 2nd Shift:
Job Description:
- Set up, operate, or tend machines that form materials into specified shapes, profiles, and products.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machining equipment; report mechanical problems to maintenance for repair.
- Load raw materials and compounds into production machines and adjust feed mechanisms to maintain proper material flow.
- Remove excess or defective material using appropriate tools; clear jams and ensure continuous operation.
- Start up machines, monitor temperature, pressure, and output, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications, and perform quality checks during production.
- Record production data, including machine settings, output levels, and quality inspection results.
- Conduct test runs to verify machine setup, product specifications, and operational readiness.
- Adjust heaters, cooling systems, line speed, and tension controls to ensure consistent product quality and performance.
Job Requirements:
- At least two years of recent production or machine operation experience.
- Proven history of good attendance.
- Capable of reading and understanding work instructions and safety documents.
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, and reaching. Ability to lift 50 pounds (for short bursts).

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking experienced Machine Operators for our client in Greensboro. Candidates should have at least 2+ years of recent production/machine operation experience. This position works 3pm-11pm, Monday-Friday, with regular overtime.
