Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, startup, and commissioning of new production machinery.
• Deliver hands-on training for operators and maintenance personnel to ensure safe and efficient equipment use.
• Develop, adjust, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs to meet operational needs.
  Provide first-line technical support to customers through remote diagnostics and problem resolution.
• Upgrade and retrofit electrical systems on existing equipment to improve performance and reliability.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong working knowledge of PLC programming, specifically Allen-Bradley platforms.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting variable frequency drives (VFDs) and servo systems.
• Proficient in electrical diagnostics using test equipment such as multimeters.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical prints.
• Comfortable using electrical hand tools including crimpers, wire cutters, and stripping tools.
  Capable of working autonomously while maintaining a customer-focused approach to problem-solving and service delivery.
• Valid driver’s license required, with flexibility for travel including eligibility for passport approval, international assignments, and rental vehicle use.
• Clear and professional communication skills in English, both verbal and written; bilingual Spanish proficiency is an advantage.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Associate degree or technical certification in industrial automation, electronics, or a related technical discipline.
• At least two years of hands-on experience installing, servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting packaging machinery.
• Minimum of two years performing electrical work related to packaging equipment systems and controls.
• Experience using mechanical hand tools such as drills, taps, punches, and wrenches.
