Upholstery Technician

Advanced Personnel Resources, Inc. High Point, NC (Onsite) Full-Time
$20.00 - $22.00/Hour

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Upholsterers for our client in the High Point area. Ideal candidates will have 3 years of recent upholstery experience. This position works 6:30am-4:15pm, Monday-Thursday and 6:30am-10:30am on Friday.

Job Requirements:

Job Duties

  • Upholster and repair furniture.
  • Measure, cut, and sew fabric to fit furniture specifications.
  • Remove old upholstery and padding from furniture.
  • Inspect and repair frames, springs, and other structural components.
  • Install new padding, foam, and upholstery materials.
  • Attach trimmings to complete the finished product.
  • Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all upholstery work.

Job Requirements

  • Recent experience in furniture upholstery environment.
  • Experience working with hand tools and power tools.
  • Knowledge of furniture restoration techniques.
  • Ability to assemble and fabricate upholstery components.
  • Proficiency in using a sewing machine to sew fabric or leather.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
