Job Requirements of 2nd Shift HR Generalist:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Interacts with and supplies information to job applicants, employees, department heads, and public and private
agencies. Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies,
procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.
2. Reviews applications and interviews applicants to match experience with specific job-related requirements.
Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry-level job openings. Facilitates or provides training
(including orientation) to the workforce. Facilitates and maintains temporary agency/contingent workforce
relationship. Manages internal job bid process.
3. Acts as an employee relations specialist coaches, counsels and guides managers before executing employee
disciplinary actions. Conducts new hire follow up, stay & exit interviews, then analyzes data and makes
recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement. Assists in
evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.
4. Plays a supporting, planning and implementing role in monthly company activities and company events.
5. Performs administrative functions, efficiently and effectively, for the Human Resources department, including
using the HRIS system, and ensuring accuracy.
6. Serves as backup for the automated time and attendance system and manages the time & attendance tracking for
the point system.
7. Enroll, set-up and maintain salaried employee benefits. Serve as divisional resource for employee benefit
inquiries.
8. Serve as a translator for location’s documents, including postings, job postings, announcements, training
literature, safety information, HACCP, GMP etc.

2nd Shift HR Generalist
Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced HR Generalist with manufacturing industry experience for a new opportunity with our client here in the Triad. The primary purpose of the Human Resources (HR) Generalist position is to recruit, hire, and orient as well as provide HR support to the Operations team under the direction of the HR Manager. This role is also responsible for timekeeping, absence management, and employee benefit processing.
