Job Duties:
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary.
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments, such as calipers, to perform quality control checks on finished parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Inspect products to ensure that specifications are met and to determine if machines need adjustment.
- Perform a wide variety of assembly and sub-assembly per customer orders.
- Record information about work completed and machine settings.

Machine Set-Up Operator / Assembler
Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking a Set-up Operators/Assemblers for our client in Greensboro. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of recent experience in a manufacturing environment and a background using precision measurement tools.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven record of good attendance.
- Capable of reading and understanding work instructions, blueprints and safety documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks using measuring instruments such as calipers.
- Physically capable of manual lifting that includes bending and reaching. Ability to lift 50 pounds (for short bursts).
