Job Requirements of Inventory Coordinator:
Job Duties:
- Solicit quotes from vendors and negotiate prices and terms.
- Create and manage purchase orders.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Research market trends and new products to inform purchasing decisions.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand without overstocking.
- Perform cycle counts and verify physical inventory.
- Maintain inventory control databases and records.
- Ensure that products are stored, organized, and readily available.
- Work with departments like production, sales, and finance to understand needs and communicate updates.
- Provide regular reports on inventory levels, purchasing costs, and supply chain activities.
- Resolve any issues related to purchasing or delivery.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with inventory management and ERP systems.
