Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot problems with facility equipment and infrastructure.
- Recommend repairs or replacements based on accurate diagnostics.
- Coordinate and supervise equipment installations and repairs, including electrical, gas, air, water, and sewer systems.
- Collaborate with outside contractors to ensure timely and quality project completion.
- Request competitive quotes from vendors for equipment, services, and repairs.
- Train staff on the operation of facility equipment as needed.
- Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
- Maintain an organized and efficient inventory of parts and supplies.
- Supervise production staff during maintenance-related activities when required.
- Follow and enforce all workplace safety procedures and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior food processing experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong physical stamina; able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to follow strict safety protocols while handling tools and equipment.
