Job Requirements of Warehouse Crane Operator:
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Overhead Crane Operation Experience is a Must
- Must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Basic math skills including the ability to perform fraction-to-decimal conversions.
- Must understand and use scanning, ticketing, pick ticket, and bill of lading systems.
- Maintain valid forklift certification.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for short distances.
- Must be able to raise arms above head and work in environments subject to temperature variations and exposure to oils and general hazards.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and limited overtime.
- Participate in ongoing training as required.

Warehouse Crane Operator
Position Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Crane Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of overhead cranes and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials in support of the company’s packaging, shipping, and receiving operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining an organized, accurate, and efficient flow of goods while complying with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and material handling equipment to load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
- Read, follow, and understand the daily schedule, work orders, and work instructions.
- Ensure proper tagging of all inbound and outbound materials.
- Scan and maintain accurate location data of finished goods in the system.
- Communicate supply and material needs to the Supervisor or Plant Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
- Comply with all applicable environmental laws and EMS procedures related to job function.
- Support and adhere to the company’s mission, Quality Management System, safety plan, and employee handbook policies.
- Participate in continual improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen events.
- Perform additional duties as needed or assigned.
