Job Requirements of Practice Manager:
Job Duties
Oversight and active participation in office administration
Onsite staff scheduling, supervision, hiring and retention
Manage accounts payable and receivable in collaboration with the Financial Manager
Review of weekly financial and productivity performance tracking reports in collaboration with Financial Manager
Prepare and monitor budgets, manage finances, and ensure financial sustainability of the practice
Coordinate Member Physician Meetings to provide reported financial data as well as develop business strategies and patient services
Monitor revenue cycle collections and banking in collaboration with Billing Manager
Recruitment and training of new staff employees
Recruitment of new Providers (Physicians & APP’s) in collaboration with the Recruiting and HR teams
Lead process of establishing an additional office location ensuring it meets business needs and supports office vision of growth in collaboration with Real Estate team
Understanding and reinforcement of compliance, IT and risk management policies
Development and management of a Pregnancy Centering Program
Keeping abreast of applicable insurance guidelines and polices, as well as new coding and fee schedule developments
Hospital Facility Credentialing for eligible providers
Resource for patient issues and problem solving
Inventory Control and Local Vendor Management
Facility and equipment management
OSHA Training and Coordination for staff
Quality Management Activities to uphold
Developing new workflows and processes to optimize operations
Motivate and inspire staff, and to lead the practice toward its goals
Coordinate regular staff meetings and performance reviews
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management preferred
3-5 years related experience and/or training in a medical office
OB/GYN experience is a plus
High level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and other Microsoft Products
athenahealth experience is a plus
Knowledge and experience in using QuickBooks accounting software
Or equivalent combination of education and experience outlined above

Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Practice Manager for a new opportunity with our client, a well-established medical practice located in the Greensboro area. The Practice Manager role is responsible for overseeing all daily operations and functions of a large OB/GYN practice. The key function of this role will be to keep the practice running smoothly and ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
