Machine Operator (Production)
Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking machine operators for an advertising company in High Point! These individuals will have some machine operating experience, and be able to learn new skills as time goes on. This individual will also have the ability to work 1st shift.
Responsibilities:
· Perform production operations to obtain utmost and ongoing efficiency
· Support ongoing quality improvement processes to ensure all deliverables are produced defect free and aligned with technical specifications
· Follow standard operational procedures and work practices and policies to ensure consistency of output
· Safely and efficiently run Pre-mask machines
· Produce goods as specified on the job traveler or other instructions given by the supervisor
· Produce consistent quality product
· Follow MPI procedures
- Basic machine maintenance
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Read and understand job traveler and utilize computer job tracking system
· Set up pre-mask machine with proper pre-mask and set up slitters whenever possible
· Visually inspect for substandard sheets during the Pre-mask operation
· Snap pre-mask to ensure guide corner edge is clean on screen printed graphics
· Check graphic to ensure graphic adheres to the pre-mask and releases from the liner
· Maintain efficiency and quality benchmarks per MPI standards
· Assist training other inexperienced operators
· Request any training required for you to succeed
· Maintain organized and clean work environment
· Enter recommendations to management for improvements in areas such as personal safety improved product quality better rates and yields, or any other matters that impact shop costs or employee’s health
· Practice safe working habits as detailed in the Company Safety Manual and Employee Handbook
· Do other tasks as directed by a supervisor
