Warehouse Supervisor and Forklift Operator
Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor and Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is essential in overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing inventory, and ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and proficiency with warehouse management systems. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing distribution processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting seamless shipping and receiving activities. This position offers an opportunity to lead a team while ensuring compliance with safety standards and process improvements.
Type: Temp to Hire
Pay: $24 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am until 5 pm

Warehouse Supervisor and Forklift Operator Responsibilities :
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including inventory management, shipping, receiving, and materials handling.
- Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move, and organize stock within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts and reconciliation using Warehouse Management System (WMS) software.
- Oversee warehouse distribution processes to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety compliance in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Manage team members by providing training on forklift operation, materials handling techniques, and safety procedures.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company policies regarding heavy lifting, equipment use, and workplace safety.
- Support inventory audits and assist in resolving discrepancies related to inventory by the ERP system/MS Excel
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows and recommending enhancements.
