Essential Duties:

• Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel and high-performance materials.
• Weld a variety of material combinations, including solid sheet, perforated materials, and sintered laminates.
• Complete both machine and manual welds, including seams, assembly joints, and finishing welds on tubes and panels.
• Execute tack welds, perform weld repairs, and ensure weld integrity in heat-affected zones and filtration media.
• Prepare materials for welding through cutting, shearing, and forming processes.
• Conduct post-weld finishing tasks such as grinding, shaping, swaging, and inspection to meet quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Inspect completed welds to verify compliance with company and industry standards for strength, precision, and durability.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support efficient workflow and continuous improvement efforts.

Job Qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Proven experience performing TIG welding on stainless steel and specialty alloys.
• Experience welding a variety of materials, including solid sheet, perforated metals, and layered/sintered materials.
• Experience with material preparation processes such as cutting, shearing, and forming.
• Familiarity with post-weld finishing (grinding, shaping, inspection, etc.).
• Strong understanding of weld quality standards and ability to inspect work for accuracy and defects
• Flexible to work hours as required.
