Job Requirements of Machine Operator (Production):
Summary:
Operator supports all aspects of textile production, including warping, weaving, inspection, and related processes. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to learn multiple production functions within a defined timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate, set up, and monitor warping and weaving equipment.

Load and unload yarn packages, warp beams, and finished fabric.
-
Verify product quality during production and record process parameters.
-
Perform equipment adjustments, pattern changes, and minor repairs.
-
Assist with troubleshooting and machine breakdowns.
-
Conduct visual inspections and log results into the computer system.
-
Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to move raw materials and finished goods.
-
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
-
Support lab testing and data entry as needed.
-
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED required.
-
Basic math and measurement skills; must pass a math test.
-
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.

Willingness to work in varying temperature environments and wear required PPE.
-
Previous manufacturing or textile experience a plus; training provided.
Work Environment:
Indoor production facility with both conditioned and unconditioned areas. Hearing protection and safety glasses required in designated zones.
