Healthcare Administrative Assistant
Advanced Personnel Resources is currently has several Healthcare Administrative Assistants for a growing client of ours located in Mooresville, NC.
The administrative staff play a key role in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient front office environment for a busy women’s health practice. This position is responsible for greeting patients, managing scheduling, verifying insurance, and supporting both patients and the clinical team to ensure a high level of care and service.
- Schedule: M-Th: 8:00 am-5:00 pm - F: 8:00 am-2:30 pm
- Pay: $17.00 - $19.00

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and professionally in person and on the phone
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments, including well-woman visits, prenatal visits, ultrasounds, and follow-ups
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments
- Collect and update patient information, including demographics and medical history
- Process check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting co-pays and balances
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely patient flow and appointment readiness
- Handle referrals, medical records requests, and prior authorizations as needed
- Address patient inquiries or route messages appropriately to nursing or clinical staff
- Assist with administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, and filing
- Ensure the front office and waiting area are clean, organized, and stocked
