Job Requirements of Assembly Operations Leader:
Job Summary
- Lead and support multi-shift assembly teams with a strong focus on safety, quality, and performance.
- Plan staffing, schedules, and labor to meet daily production goals.
- Oversee the full assembly process from build through finishing.
- Monitor production using SAP and digital reporting tools to address issues and improve flow.
- Ensure equipment is running safely and efficiently; respond quickly to downtime.
- Work closely with Maintenance and Engineering on repairs, preventative maintenance, and improvements.
- Enforce all safety, environmental, and hazardous material requirements.
- Track key metrics like output, downtime, scrap, and quality.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean and standard work practices.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Quality, Logistics, and other departments.
- Complete daily production, safety, and quality reports.
Job Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience in industrial, chemical, or hazardous manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of safety systems such as Lockout/Tagout and hazardous material handling.
- Experience using SAP and standard production reporting tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial setting and lift up to 50 lbs.
- SAP MM/WM experience and Hazardous Materials certification preferred.

Assembly Operations Leader
Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Assembly Leader/Manager for our client in Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on manufacturing leadership to own and elevate the assembly operations. This position works 7am-4pm, Tuesday-Saturday.
