Environmental Health Safety Specialist
Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist for a growing Triad based client. As an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist, you will play a vital role in fostering a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance. This position serves as a key link between leadership and employees, ensuring that workplace practices align with federal, state, and local requirements while supporting the effective implementation of company EHS policies and procedures.
You will provide guidance on occupational safety standards (including OSHA requirements), internal health and safety protocols, and environmental regulations. A central part of your role will be cultivating a safe and positive work environment, ensuring employees are properly trained, and maintaining accurate records of all EHS programs and initiatives. Collaboration across departments will be essential as you help identify potential hazards, implement corrective actions, and monitor compliance. Success in this role requires strong critical thinking, effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to follow through on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
