Job Requirements of Inventory Lead:
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Execute and oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products in line with company policies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system, Excel spreadsheets, and perform regular cycle counts and stock audits.
- Coordinate shipments and pickups with the sales team and clients.
- Communicate with the office and sales team to coordinate order schedules, provide shipping updates, share inventory levels, and resolve related issues.
- Monitor and operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.), and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Prepare reports on warehouse activities, shipping/receiving status, and inventory levels.
- Train, guide, and support new staff while providing ongoing development opportunities for the warehouse team.
- Complete inventory count on a routine and ongoing basis.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software.
- Ability to supervise and support warehouse staff.
- Forklift operation skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

Inventory Lead
Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Inventory Lead for a new opportunity with our client in the Burlington area. The purpose of the Inventory Lead is to oversee daily warehouse and inventory operations within a growing facility. This role involves managing warehouse staff, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring inventory accuracy through an ERP system. The Inventory Lead will also coordinate shipping and receiving by communicating with the sales department and provide leadership on the floor. The position also requires operating warehouse equipment and willingness to work hands-on within a warehouse environment as needed.
