Chemical Mixer - 3rd Shift

$21.00 - $21.50/Hour

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Chemical Operator for our client in Kernersville. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of recent experience with following formulas, chemical mixing and using precision measuring instruments. This position works 12am-8am, Monday-Friday.

Job Requirements:

Job Duties

  • Set up, operate, and monitor various chemical processing equipment, including mixers, pumps, and filtration systems.
  • Safely handle, measure, and mix raw materials and chemicals according to precise specifications.
  • Adjust controls to regulate temperatures, pressures, and chemical reactions to ensure product quality and efficiency.
  • Perform routine sampling, testing, and inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Conduct regular cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of production data, chemical usage, and equipment performance.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), handling hazardous materials safely, and participating in emergency response drills.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues in the production process or chemical equipment malfunctions.
  • Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow and adherence to production schedules.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3 years of experience in chemical processing, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Basic math skills for precise measurements and adjustments.
  • Proficiency in operating control systems and computer software used in chemical production.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices and CGMP regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards in all aspects of work.
