Job Requirements of Service Dispatcher:
Job Duties
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of field service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and customer service.
- Ensure timely and clear communication of scheduling updates to customers and service technicians
- Monitor service request and assign appropriate technicians to each job based on expertise and availability.
- Complete reports after job completion and ensure all service documents are uploaded to the system and distributed to the correct personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, work orders, customer interactions, and other relevant documentation.
- Manage and input data for contracts.
- Coordinate pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring customers are informed of expected timelines.
- Ensure timely invoicing of jobs as they are completed.
- Follow and enforce the Inventory Policy.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in service coordination, customer service or related field.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems.

Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a motivated Service Dispatcher for a new opportunity with our client in Greensboro. The Service Dispatcher oversees all aspects of field service operations, including scheduling, dispatching and customer service. Exceptional communication skills are essential to relay service updates, manage schedule changes, and ensure a positive customer experience. A service industry background (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, pest control, etc.) is preferred.
