Job Requirements of Inspector Operator:

Key Responsibilities
The following are essential responsibilities; additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Ensure all controls are properly adjusted. Inspect finished fabric for any defects and communicate with the supervisor regarding fabric that requires priority attention for timely shipments.

Lift and insert a 30-pound bar into the fabric roll, load the fabric onto the machine, and use a hand hoist, rack, or hoist to remove the roll from the machine.

Complete all necessary computer transactions to ensure accurate material tracking and documentation.

Verify that the fabric meets specifications, including length, width, and bow/bias.

Keep a precise daily production log detailing fabric waste, acceptable yardage, and defects that were removed.

Enhance fabric quality through the use of torches, slitting tools, blades, and other equipment.

Ensure all splices comply with customer standards.
-
Wrap rolls and forward them to the packing station with the appropriate piece ticket after doffing.

Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the workspace.

Familiarize yourself with the ISO TS 16949 management representative and the quality policy, demonstrating awareness of the policy.

Be aware of the EMS-ISO 14001 Management representative, understand fact sheet information, and know the environmental policy.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the shift manager, lead person, or manager.

Our client is seeking an Inspector Operator to work their 3rd shift in Kernersville. This position is temp-to-hire and the hours are 12am-8am, Monday through Friday.
The qualified candidate will have at least a year of experience in a manufacturing inspection role.
