Job Requirements of Controller (Business and Financial Operations):
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of US GAAP is preferred.
- Some experience in financial analysis and cost analysis a plus.
- Strong computer and systems skills including: MS Office, Excel, ERP systems, (Enterprise 21 a plus).
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret federal business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.

Controller (Business and Financial Operations)
CONTROLLER
Our client, a small but growing international company with operations in Greensboro, has an immediate opening for a Controller. Reporting to the President, the Controller will manage the finance functions of the company and will oversee the accounting team. Will monitor staff performance, including performance reviews, career planning, delegation of work duties and responsibilities.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Prepare budgets, audits, taxes, accounting, and administrative functions for the organization.
- Responsible for the maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes.
- Prepare monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheets for international parent company.
- Provide timely production of statutory and internal financial reports.
- Provides financial analysis reports, as needed.
- Responsible for cash management and performs treasury-related duties.
- Ensure appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
- Prepare documents as required by CPA.
- Manage and analyze the physical inventory processes and reports.
- Consult with Human Resources on benefits, 401(k), other benefit matters, etc.
- Work closely with Production, Sales and Purchasing related to inventory and pricing.
