Payroll Specialist
Advanced Personnel Resources is currently staffing for a seasoned Payroll Specialist. Ideal candidates will have a background in benefits, auditing, data entry and assisting in report distribution. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources department in all daily functions including handling confidential information, benefits enrollment, salary adjustments and auditing.
Processed company payrolls in conjunction with pre-determined schedules and union agreements
- Created and update work instructions with new process improvements and enhancements
- Provided multiple payroll related reports to various parties on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Worked in conjunction with payroll outsourcing partner to help resolve operational and employee-related issues
- Assisted management in identifying and implementing process improvements
- Managed payroll adjustments through HRSC case system
- Followed up with location contacts on time-related matters
- Processed pay cards for adjustments through ADP
- Generated EPIP payroll files for weekly and bi-weekly pay groups and submit to ADP for processing
- Faxed all garnishments to ADP to be processed in a timely manner
- Provided payroll records for verification of employment forms and medical support orders
- Process Multi-state payroll functions (ADP, SAP, SMT)
- Process production from payroll data system, maintained correspondence for employees, state and IRS
- Create PO's from materials and work orders, viewed and matched invoicing related to PO
- Key Responsible will also include: Payroll, Garnishments, Verification
