Job Requirements of Machine Operator (Production):
Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for the daily operation of filling machinery to produce top quality products.
Primary Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Machine Operator should Know, understand, and follow production schedule in operation of machinery.
- Machine Operator will Communicate with leadership on any issues that impede production.
- Machine Operator will Troubleshoot machinery.
- Machine Operator will be Responsible for accurate product/package/code changes.
- Machine Operator will Perform surface foaming and mechanical cleaning of machinery.
- Machine Operator will Assist in quality inspections on materials and finished product.
- Machine Operator will Document activities throughout shift.
- Machine Operator must Proactively recognize and report safety issues.
- Machine Operator will Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
- Machine Operator must Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Machine Operator will Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures.
- Machine Operator will Follow all food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in manufacturing environment in operator role, highly preferred.
Other Skills and relevant considerations:
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
- Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.
- Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work in a wet and/or humid environment. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur. Exposure to nut allergens.

We are seeking an experience Machine Operators in Winston Salem, NC! Previous food manufacturing and machine operating experience a plus!
5pm to 5am /Monday through Saturday
$16.00/hr
